Gordon Castle – Wedding Venue Moray
A magical venue where you get to be the princess
Have you been out to see Gordon Castle yet for your wedding? Or found it on the internet?
Or are you just starting out on planning your wedding and choosing the venue?
We’ll let me take you to one of my favourite wedding venues in Moray – Gordon Castle
A venue where you step into the past while enjoying the comforts of the present.
I’ve had the pleasure of officiating ceremonies at various stunning venues in and around Aberdeen and the shire, and occasionally, I get to travel a bit further for one of my weddings.
And one that stands out is Gordon Castle, where I married Liz and Matthew, who had come all the way from the States for their wedding day.
Let me tell you a bit about Gordon Castle
A stunning castle in stunning scenery
Take in the scenery
This hidden gem is quite easy to get to from Aberdeen it’s just a short drive to the picturesque village of Fochabers, which sits on the river Spey and is surrounded by breath-taking scenery.
As their brochure states, Gordon Castle is truly like no other.
From the minute you arrive at the gates to Gordon castle it’s like entering another land.
The castle itself is tucked away from the main road, with a stunning drive up to the venue.
The lush gardens and a small lake in front of the castle makes for a stunning setting, never mind the inside. A perfect spot for an outdoor wedding if you get the weather.
From little to large
Gordon Castle is not just a beautiful backdrop; it’s a versatile venue that can accommodate weddings and events ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 people to larger celebrations of up to 250.
The castle has several adaptable wedding spots both within its walls like the Orangery, The Tower Hall, and the castle itself.
There is no one size fits all weddings here, you have a few options to choose from depending on the number of guests you’re having.
And like a lot of the venues, they all recognise that every couple is unique, so understand that weddings should be tailored to individual preferences.
Which is what the lovely Kyra makes sure happens for your wedding day.
Indoors or Outdoors
What sets Gordon Castle apart is its flexibility, offering both indoor and outdoor wedding options.
Whether you dream of exchanging vows within the castle’s historic walls or under the open sky amidst the estate’s natural beauty, Gordon Castle can turn your vision into a reality.
So if you dream of getting married in a castle why not check out Gordon Castle on the link below or give Kyra a call and let her talk you through the options you have.
Gordon Castle is the perfect spot for getting married, and to have the choices it provides in where in the castle you can get married, never mind the stunning grounds to have a ceremony, is the icing on the cake, I would say.
So pop over and have a chat with Kyra see what they can do for your wedding day.
Tell her Mary (aka The Celebrant Angel) sent you
Of course, you will need a celebrant to create a unique ceremony for you on the day, too, so pop over for a chat and let’s see if your date is free in my diary.
