Jen and Craig’s Wedding
Jen and Craig were such a cracking couple to work with; there was always a laugh at our meetings and during the ceremony.
Their wedding day was about celebrating with friends and family from afar, a party to celebrate their love.
A couple who didn’t just pick each other and cross their fingers it would work out.
They met by fate and had an instant connection and chemistry that made it all work out perfectly.
The best love is unexpected.
You talk and notice the way their lips curve when they smile
or the colour of their eyes
and all at once you know you’re either lucky or your screwed.
The key to love is …
Date & Venue
MaryCulter House 10th August 2024 was the venue for Jen and Craig’s wedding.
A beautiful wedding venue set on the River Dee. Jen and Craig chose to have an outdoor wedding in the beautiful patio area of the hotel with the river behind us.
THE COUPLE
Jen and Craig are a cracking couple and so funny; we had lots of laughs during our time together.
When a couple meet each other later in life the relationships are different, solid.
And these 2 are as solid as a rock.
wedding party
The wedding party were great crack from the minute they arrived. Joining in in the ceremony where we needed them to.
They were delighted to watch Jen and Craig finally get married and pretty sure they left some fantastic memories of their day.
ceremony
Jen and Craig’s ceremony was about having fun and celebrating their life together so far.
We had a handfasting during the ceremony, some cracking I love you’s and so many laughs and the odd tear from Craig.
Their Story
first date
Jen and Craig’s first date will be remembered forever. She called him Colin all night, and he was such a gentleman he didn’t like to correct her.
It was a great first date full of fun.
proposal
Their proposal took place in one of their favourite places… their caravan whilst they were in St Andrews for a short break.
Craig had it all planned without Jen knowing anything about it.
the family
Jen and Craig’s family mean the whole to them, and as they watch the family grow with grandchildren arriving now it only gets better.
They have a large circle of friends to who are considered family too.
Mary put us at ease from our first meeting.
We had said we wanted an informal relaxed ceremony and she took that on board and delivered a touching personal ceremony with some comedy.
Mary definitely did her research and that showed because the ceremony was exactly what we wanted, we couldn’t be happier with how it went on the day and how it was received by our family and friends.
Even the wee drizzly shower didn’t dampen the ceremony for us.
