Mo and Gareth Johnston Wedding
A real family affair
Mo and Gareth’s wedding was about giving the family the same name, and celebrating in true Irish/Scottish style
You came here today as individuals, but you will leave as husband and wife.
A great relationship is about celebrating the similarities, whilst respecting the differences.
Never going to bed on an argument and always realising that sometimes you can be wrong and a simply sorry will change everything.
Even when you may be right.
The key to love is …
From this day forward, let us laugh together, and plan together; let us find our favourite places and go together.
Let us enjoy the sunshine, and the rain, being alone together, and in crowds together.
From this day forward, together, Let us love!
Let us walk together. Let us walk together yet not as one, but such that our shadows are separate and distinct, such that our souls are unbound and free.
Let us share our time, yet do not give all your time, nor take all of mine for in order to develop to the fullest, to be free, we must have solitude and individuality.
Date & Venue
Logie Country House was the venue for Mo and Gareth’s wedding.
They wanted an all-inclusive venue to celebrate for a couple of days with their family.
Logie House was perfect for that.
THE COUPLE
Mo and Gareth are such an amazing couple. They have gone through a lot together and still celebrate their love of each other and their young family every day.
This is a couple who will stick together through thick and thin together.
wedding party
This wedding was all about celebrating.
Celebrating the Johnston family and all their friends and family.
And the Irish know how to party!!
ceremony
Mo and Gareth were celebrating the joining of their families, in true Irish/Scottish fashion.
No fuss, no rules or regulations, their ceremony was about celebrating their small family.
Their Story
first date
Mo and Gareth met on line and spoke for a couple of weeks whilst Gareth was offshore and set a date for when he was home.
Mo rocked up feeling nervous but knew within minutes that Gareth was her man.
They had lots of fun on the first date and have never been apart since.
proposal
Gareth proposed to Mo on a Christmas sleigh ride overlooking a winter Whistler village in Canada.
He managed to get a ring unbeknown to Mo and took her on the most romantic sleigh ride of her life.
She of course said yes!
the family
Mo and Gareth have 4 beautiful children who are their life.
They are rock solid together and experience lots of fabulous adventures together.
And I know this family will continue to grow together.
From the second I spoke with Mary I knew I was happy to use her as our celebrant.
Our relaxed and humorous natures clicked straight away and I felt at ease knowing she would deliver exactly what I wanted.
Come the day of the wedding I was not disappointed.
It was personal, funny and we had so many comments on how it was the best ceremony they had been to as not too serious and very chilled.
Loved every second of it and will be keeping in touch
Mo and Gareth
