The Palm Court Hotel  – Wedding Venue Aberdeen

the perfect venue for your wedding celebrations

Have you been to see The Palm Court Hotel yet for your wedding?

Or are you just starting out on planning your wedding and choosing the venue?

We’ll let me take you to a wedding venue in Aberdeen that I’ve done a few weddings at – The Palm Court Hotel

The Palm Court Hotel is situated in the heart of Aberdeen, within a short distance from the airport to.

A local hotel with lots of atmosphere and charm

Let me tell you a little about the Palm Court Hotel

Affordable, professional, and central

An unforgetable day

The Palm Court Hotel is renowned for crafting unforgettable wedding days with meticulous attention to detail.

The Palm Court ensures that your special day is nothing short of extraordinary.

The lovely wedding coordinators are known for their expertise and warmth.

They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and know some of the best local wedding vendors in the area, so can guide you with some suggestions if you’re still looking for vendors. (Hopefully my names on that list too 😊)

Ceremony room choices

The Palm Court Hotel has an awesome range of room options, perfect for those cosy, intimate weddings with just 15 or fewer of your friends and family.

Or, if your guest list is a bit higher, no worries!

They have rooms that can handle up to 120 people for your ceremony and up to 140 for drinks receptions.

My first wedding ceremony at the Palm Court was for Ivor and Barbara’s vow renewal, which was in the room called Blake.

The perfect size room for Ivor and his family to have their ceremony in.

They had nibbles in the same room after the ceremony and then moved to the Clayton, which is right next door, for the meal later on in the evening.

The Blake is up on the first floor, so you are away from prying eyes, but it has a window to the front letting in some natural light, and it was the perfect spot for me to stand for the ceremony.

My other weddings there have been in The Hudson, which is the room that you see from outside when you arrive.

It has its own private entrance and a bar in the room which can be set up for after your ceremony.

The Hudson is surrounded by glass, like a conservatory type of thing, so the photographers love it.

And for them hot days in Aberdeen, (we do get them, you know) there is air conditioning to keep you and your guests cool if need be.

And you can continue your reception after the ceremony at the Hudson once the ladies turn the room around.

Or have your reception meal in the Sanderson, which has recently been refurbished and is beautiful.

Don’t break the bank

There’s a virtual tour on their website. If you want to have a look around before you go meet the coordinators, click the link below to their site.

On a budget then don’t worry about that either. The Palm Court has got packages to fit every budget, from the rooms to the menu.

Their wedding menu is lovely, and you get to pick the options you want to feed your guests with; it’s a fantastic idea and saves a lot of emails going back and forward about what you want on the menu on our wedding day.

Guests having a sleepover?

The Palm Court has that sorted too, with 23 bedrooms, which would accommodate a lot of your guests, and they get preferential rates to boot.
