Andy and Connie’s wedding
Connie, Andy, and their two boys came from Ayr to The Colyumbridge Hotel in Aviemore for their ceremony.
It’s a hotel that holds many family memories for Connie and her family and where Andy was meant to propose, but that’s a story for later.
It was a very small, intimate ceremony but was perfect for the couple and their boys.
I hope your love is ever growing, ever-changing.
I hope your love is powerful and free,
And may you always find each other,
Like a river finds the sea.
The key to love is …
unwavering commitment and mutual support
Date & Venue
The Colyumbridge is a busy hotel set in the highlands but has a wee hidden away secret where Andy and Connie had their ceremony, which was the perfect place for a wedding of this size.
The woodshed bar is stunning and Lily did a fantastic job to setting the room up for the ceremony.
THE COUPLE
Andy and Connie are a beautiful couple so meant to be together.
They are each others support and encouragement throughout their life together.
They have a brilliant sense of humour together and love their boys very much.
wedding party
Andy and Connie’s wedding party was a group of their closest family and friends who had come all the way from Ayr with them.
It was an intimate ceremony with their very dear friends and family here to help them celebrant getting married.
ceremony
The ceremony was perfect and exactly how they wanted to celebrate getting married.
We included the boys in the handfasting part of the ceremony and they also walked their mum down the aisle.
There were laughter and tears, just as was ordered for the day.
Their Story
first date
Andy and Connie met over a car he was selling and their first proper date was at Andy’s house sharing a pizza.
Life was hectic for Connie rushing between college, home, her son and now seeing Andy so a nice night in together did the trick.
proposal
Andy was all set for proposing at the Colyumbridge Hotel that night, but got so excited he proposed whilst they were sitting in a car park.
But they then celebrated the news in the hotel he had booked for the romantic evening.
the family
Family means everything to Andy and Connie and that was visible right from the start of our meetings.
Ryan and Zac are their lives and they are included in everything they do as a family
Family is Andy, Connie, Ryan and Zac
We definitely hit the jackpot with Mary! We always felt things were under control and getting help with every step we needed. The personal feel to our wedding and including our boys is exactly what we wanted. Can’t thank you enough for all your help, knowledge and understanding.
