Laura and Rob were an amazing couple to work with, we had so many laughs creating the ceremony.

Date & Venue

Schivas Steading 2nd August 2023 was the stunning venue for Laura and Rob’s wedding.

An absolutely stunning venue in the heart of Aberdeenshire with stunning views.

THE COUPLE

Laura and Rob are a beautiful couple, inside and out.

They had a great sense of humour and so understanding of each other it was lovely to see.

The wedding party were fantastic fun and joined in the ceremony with a crowd vow, which no one had seen before but they participated with as much gusto as they could manage.

This ceremony was all about having fun, no traditions or rules just a pure celebration of the love Laura and Rob had for each other and their family and friends.

Their Story



first date

Laura and Rob’s first date was a game of bowling, to which they still debate who was the winner to this day.

They had a strong connection right from the start, which as strengthened throughout their relationship.



Rob whisked Laura away for a wee day out for this proposal, which was meant to be whilst they were alone

But ended with a whole heap of tourists watching as Rob proposed to Laura in the pouring rain.



the family

Laura and Rob come from loving supportive families who have been with the couple through thick and thin.

And as I write this at the end of 2023 their own little family is beginning to grow with their first baby on the way.

From the first moment we met, we knew Mary was the right fit for us.

Mary really took the time to get to know us and curated a ceremony that has been quoted by guests as “ the best ceremony that they had ever attended” and “ truly the perfect ceremony showing off Laura and Robs personalities” .

We laughed, and cried, and even the crowd got involved !
