Vicki and Andrew’s wedding
Vicki and Adrews’s wedding was absolutely cracking.
It was a prohibition-style wedding and the decor to match the theme was stunning at The Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen.
This couple were fun to work with and very in tune with each other.
We had some right laughs at our meetings and on the day of the wedding.
I hope your love is ever growing, ever changing.
I hope your love is powerful and free,
And may you always find each other,
Like a river finds the sea.
The key to love is …
Date & Venue
The Marcliffe was the venue for Vicki and Andrew’s wedding on 28th September 2024.
A stunning wedding venue in Aberdeen set in beautiful grounds.
THE COUPLE
It’s always a pleasure to work with a couple that are a team, and that’s what they two are.
They work together on everything, have so much fun together and are such lovely human beings.
wedding party
Vicki and Andrew’s wedding party were such good fun.
They were funny and emotional watching their best friends get married and made sure that they had a cracker of a day.
ceremony
Vicki and Andrew made this ceremony their own in many ways.
They included a cocktail ritual after the signing with their favourite tipple – a fireball, not for the faint hearted I hear.
Their Story
first date
After a few months chatting online during covid, Andrew and Vicki’s first date was a wee wander around the Rose garden at Hazelhead.
Which then led to lots of telephone conversation and lots more dates.
proposal
This proposal was quite a feat, the fact that Andrew kept it quiet from Vicki was the biggest feat.
Cape Verde was the venue for this romantic proposal, complete with rose petals on the beach.

the family
Vicki and Andrews’s family and friends were such good craik on the day. They were all dressed for a prohibition-style wedding and looked stunning.
A day that the whole “family” joined int the celebrations.
Mary has been great from the beginning.
Very genuine and Friendly Celebrant who want’s to capture the personalities and lives of the people she’ll be working with.
We found Mary was always easy to contact and speak with should we have any concerns, and she made us feel at ease, which is very important, especially when planning a wedding.
Mary spent time having calls and meetings with us at our home and could see that the informal chat’s is how she is able to obtain as much info as possible, as well as the user friendly questions she ‘d send through for us to fill in.
On our Big day, Mary was there in great time and was ready to go.
Was great meeting with you Mary. We wish you all the best.
