Yvonne and Stuart’s wedding
Yvonne and Stuart were an fantastic couple to work with.
They were such good fun and up for adding a lot of fun and humour into their wedding ceremony.
They have embraced a life brimming with love, strength, and determination, pledging to support each other’s dreams and passions, both as a team and as individuals.
We talk about the memories
You have yet to make together
And the moments you’ve already shared
To be carried with you forever.
But take the time to live today
As your marriage begins
Look around and soak it up
The moment we are in
The key to love is …
the most powerful force in the universe: love.
Date & Venue
Elrick House June 8th 2024, was the stunning venue for Yvonne and Stuart’s wedding.
A stunning all-inclusive wedding venue in Aberdeenshire
THE COUPLE
Stuart and Yvonne were so chilled about their wedding day, from the moment I met them.
They have a fantastic relationship with each other, the way they support each other and the way they work together.
wedding party
The wedding party were so much fun from the moment they came into Elrick House.
They loved watching the couple tie the knot and joined in the fun throughout the ceremony. I hear the reception was such good fun.
ceremony
This ceremony was all about having fun, no traditions or rules
We had a Quaich in the ceremony which was great fun and lots of humour throughout the ceremony – Just what they wanted
Their Story
first date
Yvonne and Stuart’s first date was a long one at the College Bar in 2015, and they had a lot of sampling of the various gin’s in the bar to get through.
They both left feeling excited about what was to come for them both.
proposal
This proposal happened during covid in one of their favourite Islands, The Shetlands.
A place that Stuart spent a lot of time in when he was young and has become a favourite spot for them to escape to on a regular basis.
the family
Yvonne and Stuart’s family mean a lot of them, and they love spending time with them and their close band of friends.
They already have a large bank of memories made with those friends and family, and I’m pretty sure there will be a lot more in the future.
From the moment we first met Mary we knew she was the perfect celebrant for us.
She spent a lot of time and effort getting to know us both, which put us at ease. It felt like we knew her instantly and got on with her like she was a close friend.
Mary guided us through the whole process and held our hands. She answered all questions we had and was very responsive.
The ceremony was just perfect, very personal while humorous at the same time and many guests commented on how great she was.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mary and hope to stay friends with her over the coming years.
